Shy away from Shyness

What Is Shyness

Shyness is an emotion that affects how a person feels and behaves around others.

Shyness can cause several symptoms for a person:

  • uncomfortable,
  • self-conscious,
  • nervous,
  • bashful,
  • timid,
  • insecure.

People who suffer from being shy sometimes notice physical sensations like blushing or feeling speechless, shaky, or breathless. Others may think the person has a low self esteem because he or she is shying away from talking or being noticed .

When people feel shy, they hesitate to say or do something because they feel unsure of themselves and would feel scared or the feeling of not wanting to be noticed in case something they say brings unwanted attention to them .
With its symptoms, Shyness has its ways to which it can be countered and dealt with
  • Start building up your self confidence. Work on self esteem. start building it up rather than bringing it down

  • Make an effort to meet new friends. Set some goals that don't scare you too much - maybe one new friend a week to start with.

  • Feel free to laugh when you find something funny.

  • Don't run away shy away when someone starts talking to you!

  • Gently push your limits cause we all have a comfort zone. places we're happy to be in, but these are self imposed.
